During a particularly interesting discussion last night, someone asked:

"So Jim, what is the point of living at all if there's no afterlife?" (I'm paraphrasing, of course, but this was the thrust of their question)

This was an online chat and somehow, right away, the following just rolled out of me:

"Oh, you mean the meaning of life and stuff? The point to living at all? If that's what you mean, then all I can say is this: seek, find, experience, share, transcend, enjoy."

SFESTE

They said, "You mean that's it?"

I then told them (they are around 20 or so) that they probably had over 100 years left on this planet (maybe even more - heck, I plan on being around until I'm 122! at least!) and SFESTE seemed, to me, like a good way to go.

They were still bummed about the whole "there's no life after death" thing. That still REALLY bummed them out. But they seemed a tiny bit happier when they considered what the SeekFindExperienceShareTranscendEnjoy model could do for them RIGHT NOW and during the 80-100 years that will follow.

Seek. Find. Experience. Share. Transcend. Enjoy.

Well guess what? It's time for another ALL-NEW Series of Wacky Packages! That's right, ANS3 (or as I like to call it – for obvious reasons – ANSIII) is coming soon!

This will be released in mid-December and will serve as a pre-release for the rest of the country. It will be available only in PA/NY/NJ. Of course, I already have a full case reserved from my New Jersey contacts. You might try eBay if you're still trying to find one. People weren't expecting this until next year! What a way to end the year! The following promotional flyer features one of the new ANS3 titles and announces that ANS3 is coming. Enjoy!

Dec. 2nd, 2005 @ 05:22 pm Again: We're NOT Kansas - We're LAWRENCE, Kansas...
Current Mood: devious
Current Music: SIRIUS Holiday (SIRIUS Ch. 2)
You know that I'm fond of saying how out-of-step we are (here in Lawrence) with the rest of the state of Kansas. You also know I'm found of saying: THIS IS A GOOD THING. So why do we live here? Why do we live in Lawrence, Kansas?

Simple: because it's a progressive, thinking-person's town.

It's a town filled, by and large, with people who just make sense. And since we live and work and play in the hip & happening University Town of Lawrence that pretty much has everything that a thinking, well-educated, and leftward-leaning (or independent-minded) person could ever possibly want or need, I never see any really compelling reasons to leave this fine city. Ever. I mean, we're Gay Friendly (we had an openly gay Mayor), we're extremely progressive (we were the only place in Kansas that voted overwhelmingly against the Kansas same-sex marriage ban), we're a "Top Ten Smartest" City (over 42% of our population holds a Bachelor's degree or higher), and we're an ISLAND OF BLUE (voted overwhelmingly for Kerry in '04) in an otherwise extremely primitive and backwards state that's mostly filled with lots of "simple, old-fashioned values"-type folks. And trust me, for the most part, they really aren't that bright.

Look. Here's my thing: I am a proud Green Party supporter from that tiny little ISLAND OF BLUE that sits smack-dab in the northeast corner of an highly oppressive SEA OF RED DULLARDS. You know this Special Little Island, right? Lawrence? Lawrence, Kansas? You may have heard of us? Here, let me break it down for you:

Most of Lawrence, Kansas = smart, hip, happening, progressive

Most of the Rest of Kansas = dull, dumb, conservative, needs to be made fun of

Here's what some no-name local "Reverend" and supporter of raft-loads of anti-Gay legislation once said about our town: "Lawrence, I think, has shown it's behind the times. I'm sorry for Lawrence."

Well, we're sorry for you too, dumbass. Future historians will look back on these types of "bans" and the discriminatory legislation you've supported just as we currently look at the laws that made it legal to own slaves. And the laws that prevented women from voting. Just plain stupid. Just plain wrong.

From some recent feedback, it's very clear that some of you reading this right now are stuck in Kansas living "Off-Island" somewhere (meaning, you're not blessed to be living here in Lawrence). You have my deepest sympathy. It must be very painful wading through that SEA OF RED DULLARDS each and every day. Sounds excruciating!

Well, there's always (as some of you profanely call it) "The People's Republic of Lawrence"! HA!!! Good luck getting in. You will most definitely get flagged at the door. And don't try and crawl in over the fences and walls next to I-70, either. We've posted guards there. And they've got DOGS too. MEAN DOGS. So watch out!

p.s. --- And in response to those of you who might say that my vote for David Cobb (Green Party) in 2004 was a vote for the RED team:

Not here in Kansas it wasn't. Not even close. The seven folks who voted for Cobb here in Lawrence (and I was one of them) didn't have anything to do with Bush winning or Kerry losing. It was, in fact, a vote for the GREEN team. And we felt good about it.

Stats for Kansas:

Bush - 736,456 (62%)
Kerry - 434,993 (37%)

I have called this world a "Haunted Mansion on Top of a Runaway Train" on a number of occasions over the past 10 or 11 years. But there was YET AGAIN another obscure and unexpected Haunted Mansion reference last week that was completely astounding to me. You see, we were just having a conversation here about which ride to do first during our upcoming trip to Disney World and whether or not the Haunted Mansion ride (which is currently tagged as "First Ride") would be too scary for kids under 5. I specifically stated that they might have trouble with the "little woman" at the end of the ride that reminds visitors to come back soon. So... less than 1 hour later, there is a reference being made to the Haunted Mansion and also (AGAIN!) to that obscure element at the end of the ride! How did that happen?

And here she is, Madame Leota:

Just to head some of the MONSTER ZOMBIES off at the pass (& since my original posts were put up at some pro-hunting/anti-animal-rights message boards earlier today!), I offer this very concise Q&A from AskCarla.com, a PETA.org site:

What about plants?

There is currently no reason to believe that plants experience pain, devoid as they are of central nervous systems, nerve endings, and brains. It is theorized that the main reason animals have the ability to experience pain is that it serves as a form of self-protection. If you touch something that hurts and could possibly injure you, you will learn from the pain it produces to leave it alone in the future. Since plants cannot locomote and do not have the need to learn to avoid certain things, this sensation would be superfluous. If one is concerned about the impact of vegetable agriculture on the environment, a vegetarian diet is still preferable to a meat-based one, since the vast majority of grains and legumes raised today are used as feed for cattle. By eating vegetables directly, rather than eating animals such as cows, who must consume 16 pounds of vegetation in order to convert them into 1 pound of flesh, one is saving many more plants' lives (and destroying less land).

Hi.

If your "turnips" were yellow as a child, they weren't turnips. They were rutabagas. So why do so many of us (especially those of us from the Northeast) remember yellow turnips? I mean, aside from the fact that we're REALLY REALLY old? Well, a rutabaga was called a Swede or YELLOW TURNIP until 1967 (and, in some regions, well into the 70's) when its name was changed to avoid confusion with the turnip.

Rutabagas are larger, yellow fleshed with a purple top and are usually waxed for winter storage. A turnip is a smaller cousin of the rutabaga. It has white flesh, with a purple trimming. It has a sharper taste and is most frequently available during the summer before the new crop of rutabaga.

Just trying to help folks keep track of THE THINGS THAT REALLY MATTER.

Nov. 24th, 2005 @ 07:00 am The Top 10 Reasons Not To Eat Turkeys (Part II)
Current Mood: angry
Current Music: HOWARD 100 News (SIRIUS CH. 100)
Well, here's Part II. Remember, it goes like this: if you "feel" something for the Turkeys when you read this (and 1-5 in Part I), it's a good bet that you're a caring, kind, and loving person deep down in Your Inner Core. If you still don't feel a damn thing, and you STILL feel inclined to make the "People Eating Tasty Animals" LAME-ASS joke, it's a good bet that, in your Selfish Inner Core, YOU ARE A MONSTER. Yes, it *really is* that simple!

Part II:

6) Want Stuffing With Your Supergerms? Dosing turkeys with antibiotics to stimulate their growth and to keep them alive in filthy, disease-ridden conditions that would otherwise kill them poses even more risks for people who eat them. Leading health organizations - including the World Health Organization, the American Medical Association, and the American Public Health Association - have warned that by giving powerful drugs (via animal products) to humans who are not sick, the farmed-animal industry is creating possible long-term risks to human health and will spread antibiotic-resistant supergerms. That's why the use of drugs to promote growth in animals used for food has been banned for many years in Europe.

7) Without a Wing and a Prayer. On factory farms, turkeys live for months in sheds where they are packed so tightly that flapping a wing or stretching a leg is nearly impossible. They stand in waste, and urine and ammonia fumes burn their eyes and lungs. At the slaughterhouse, turkeys have their throats slit while they are still conscious. Those who miss the automated knife are scalded to death in the defeathering tank.

8) Foul Farming. Anyone who has driven by a farm has probably smelled it first from a mile away. Turkeys and other animals raised for food produce 130 times as much excrement as the entire U.S. human population - all without the benefit of waste treatment systems. There are no federal guidelines to regulate how factory farms treat, store, and dispose of the trillions of pounds of concentrated, untreated animal excrement that they produce each year.

9) Blood, Sweat, and Fear. Killing animals is inherently dangerous work, but the fast line speeds, the dirty, slippery killing floors, and the lack of training make animal-processing plants some of the most dangerous places to work in America today. The industry has refused to slow down the lines or buy appropriate safety gear because these changes could cut into companies' bottom lines. In its 185-page expose on worker exploitation by the farmed-animal industry, "Blood, Sweat, and Fear: Workers' Rights in U.S. Meat and Poultry Plants," Human Rights Watch explains, "These are not occasional lapses by employers paying insufficient attention to modern human resources management policies. These are systematic human rights violations embedded in meat and poultry industry employment."

10) A Cornucopia of Turkey Alternatives. Give up the giblets and carve out a new tradition this Thanksgiving - Tofurky Roast and UnTurkey, savory soy and wheat-based roasts with stuffing and gravy or oven-roasted, peppered, hickory-smoked, or cranberry-and-stuffing flavored Tofurky Deli Slices.

Well, you have yourself a WONDERFULLY Happy Thanksgiving, 2005! And to all you MONSTER ZOMBIES out there (you *know* who you are), try not to think too hard. It's really not your strong suit. It's just not. I mean, you know that, right?

I know that certain people will think this is a joke when they see that subject line. The fact that some people won't even CONSIDER the topic is very telling indeed. Yup.

Go on, read it. Read the list below. And if it doesn't move you AT ALL (I mean, even in the slightest bit), then guess what? You're a MONSTER! So I was wondering, how does it really feel? You know, to be a MONSTER? Is it fun? Is it rewarding? Do you feel good about yourself? Do you feel superior?

I've been a vegetarian since 1985 and this is the one holiday that really sends out the anti-animal rights folks in full force! They love it! They just love getting up on that pathetic little soapbox right before dinner and saying something stupid like "well, I just love the way it tastes and I'm gonna eat it and I really don't care" or "PETA - doesn't that mean People Eating Tasty Animals?" or some other moronic JUST PLAIN WRONG bullshit. This is what vegans and vegetarians and other thinking, caring people have come to expect each and every year. Doesn't make it any less annoying. But still, at least we know it's coming. And can prepare. Thankfully, I am surrounded by tolerant, thoughtful people at Thanksgiving time. And even though most of them will be eating Turkey, at least I know they have considered another point of view. And they respect mine.

Here's Part I of The Top 10 Reasons Not To Eat Turkey List:

1) They're Begging Your Pardon. Turkeys are "smart animals with personality and character, and keen awareness of their surroundings," Oregon State University poultry scientist Tom Savage says. Turkeys are social, playful birds who enjoy the company of others. They relish having their feathers stroked and like to chirp, cluck, and gobble along to their favorite tunes. Anyone who spends time with them at farm sanctuaries quickly learns that turkeys are as varied in personality as dogs and cats. The president "pardons" a turkey every year - can't you pardon one too?

2) Get Rid of Your Wattle. Turkey flesh is brimming with fat. Just one homemade patty of ground, cooked turkey meat contains a whopping 244 mg of cholesterol, and half of its calories come from fat. Research has shown that vegetarians are 50 percent less likely to develop heart disease, and they have 40 percent of the cancer rate of meat-eaters. Plus, meat-eaters are nine times more likely to be obese than vegans are.

3) Can You Spell 'Pandemic'? Experts are warning that a virulent new strain of bird flu could spread to human beings and kill millions of Americans. The Bush administration is trying to deal with the problem, but experts warn that current factory-farm conditions, in which turkeys are drugged up and bred to grow so quickly they can barely walk, are a prescription for disease outbreaks. Eating a turkey carcass contaminated with bird flu could kill you, and currently available drugs might not work. Cooking should kill the virus, but it could be left behind on cutting boards and utensils and spread through something else you're eating.

4) Recall Process Doesn't Fly. The U.S. government is the only government in the Western world that does not have the power to recall contaminated animal products. Instead, American consumers must trust the profit-hungry meat, dairy, and egg industries to decide when recalls are necessary. Dan Glickman, secretary of agriculture under President Bill Clinton, explained that this limit on the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) power to protect consumers from tainted animal products is "one of the biggest loopholes out there." There are all sorts of killer bacteria found in turkey flesh, including salmonella and campylobacter. The Center for Science in the Public Interest found that 28 percent of fresh turkeys were contaminated with bacteria, primarily with campylobacter, for which the USDA does not even require testing.

5) Let the Turkeys Give Thanks! Let's face it: If you're eating a turkey, that's a corpse you've got there on the table, and if you don't eat it quickly enough, it will decompose. Is that really what we want as the centerpiece of a holiday meal: an animal's dead and decaying carcass? Thanksgiving is a time to take stock of our lives and give thanks for all that we have, so why not let the turkeys give thanks too?

Stay Tuned for Part II tomorrow... and BTW, there's still time to go out and find an alternative!

Sure, this was triggered by a reference to The One 37 (137) on tonight's episode of the WB's SUPERNATURAL. Sure, I'll admit that I actually watched something semi-live on the WB tonight. We watched it on a slight time-delay, though, and blew through all the commercials (thankfully). Jeez - how do The Normals put up with all those commercials? Oh, that's right - THEY ARE ZOMBIES.

Heh.

And before we start, please remember: 3=7!!!

OK... here goes... fasten your seatbelts!

1) From Crowley (circa 1908) -

Eleven was their great 'Key of Magic'. It is a twofold number in 'the act of becoming 1'. Thirty-seven was the essence of 1 inasmuch as multiplying it by 3 gives 111, three ones, which divided again by 3 in another manner, yield 1. "One would rather think of 48 as 37 plus 11 than as 4 times 12" is the statement of an elementary text-book dating from the earliest days of Atlas. It was a sort of moral duty to teach the mind to think in this manner. 37 = Man's Crown.

2) From ME (circa 1980) -

"My friends in college (who were all studying to be some kind of scientist or engineer) wanted to help me debunk this. The theory was this: choose ANY number at all, make a mental note of it, and then it will start coming up all over the place. We took my TI-55 calculator and used the random number generator on it to select a random number between 1 and 600. We thought it might give us something that looked like a time. It didn't. We got 37. We thought '37’s a prime number, seems odd enough, let's see if it starts to come up.' And for me, it did - mostly on cash registers (in prices and change) and in numbers that would come up in my various labs and classes. As a prank, in the fall of 1980, we all helped paint a big 37 on the statue in the middle of the Stevens Institute of Technology campus (Hoboken, NJ). Then one Saturday a few weeks later I was playing around with the numbers in a homework problem and realized that 37 was a close relative of my number. 37 + 37 + 37 = 111! Why should a random number that we generated on a calculator have ANY connection to 111?"

3) From ME again (21st century stuff) -

The Key I(a) relationship that marries 3 and 7:

:: Key I (a) ::
Aldehyde Reductase
w/Number
Aleph*Gimel*Kaph
3=III=111=7

4) OK - even though the Fine-Structure Constant (Alpha) is actually 1/137 (0.007297351 +/- 0.000000006) and not 137, we can throw it in for good measure (oh, and tell the 137.com guy the 1/137 thing if you happen to run into him - he seems to be a little confused).

5) And then finally, read about The BRAVE 37 (circa 2001) - http://our.homewithgod.com/mkcathy/portauthority.html

May they Rest In Peace...

As many of you know, I live less than 10 miles from the Spooky Little Town known as STULL, KANSAS. If you haven't come across Stull yet, here's a quick search you can do:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=gate+hell+stull

Yes, that's GATE, HELL, and STULL. You should get around 17,000 hits that you can feel free to peruse at your leisure. You can also take the next few minutes and read this. The local legends tell us, quite simply, that Stull, Kansas (specifically the cemetery) is a Gateway (or Portal, if you will) into the darkest regions of a place called HELL. Yes, it's the HELL you're thinking of - the stereotyped HELL that you'll find a rather elaborate description of in the Christian's Holy Bible. Whether or not you buy into Stull's role as a Portal to HELL, the legend really has sunk in.

Yes, during a visit to the US many moons ago, the Pope took this so seriously that he actually diverted his flight so as to not fly directly over Stull airspace. Stull's Zip Code, by the way, butts right up against the 666xx Zip Codes surrounding Topeka. At any rate, there's a section of "the 111 experience" write-up from 1997 that was purged a long time ago that I would like to share – it now only exists in the PDF archives. It speaks to our first visit to Stull a few months after we moved to Lawrence. It can be found here in this 1.14MB PDF archive of the old hard-copy:

http://www.the111experience.org/111pdf_5.pdf

But I will transcribe the relevant sections here to save you some time:

Lisa and I went over to a small town called Stull, which is around 15 minutes from Lawrence. The rumor says that the Devil itself (or some being that identified itself as the Devil) appeared there to several of the town's residents. There was supposedly a very old building on the cemetery property where the incident allegedly took place. We quickly found the cemetery but it was padlocked shut! There was even a huge (possibly electric) fence around the whole lot! The building is there too – its walls are now incomplete and it hasn't got any roof. The only thing left completely standing is the left side wall (as you're facing it). The wall has three very long, thin windows down the side. Lisa and I both knew what we were looking at. You guessed it: 111!!! We turned our heads at almost the exact same moment - and what did we see? We saw the front door of the church right across the street from the cemetery. It had three very curious windows on it: three long, thin windows – with the middle one smaller and thinner. I'm not sure that I like 111 coming up in this place, but I will continue to investigate the "Stull Incident" with Lisa in the coming months and see where it takes us.

[end of transcription]

Fast forward to 2005. A little-known (and little-watched) WB program is set in the Midwest, and its two main characters are natives of Lawrence, Kansas. Its title is its subject matter: SUPERNATURAL.

http://supernatural.warnerbros.com/

Actually, it deals with "portals" and the classic battles of "Good" vs. "Evil" and Angels and Demons. They have been pretty coy about the fact that this is set in Kansas. And they haven't specifically said that their hometown is actually Lawrence, Kansas. They do that this week (finally!). So why is it set here? Well, three guesses and the first two don't count. I can tell you, without a doubt, that it will somehow be connected to Stull. Lawrence has an awful lot going for it as a very progressive town with a hip, happening University at its core. But the only thing remotely supernatural (aside from the fact that *I*, Jala*AN, live here!) is the fact that we are a stone's throw from Stull. Our local paper did a story on the show on Friday and the show's creator pretty much said this (and that "portals" will be involved - please, that's code language for STULL!). I'm not a big fan of the piece's author - local "entertainment critic" Jon Niccum (ECCH!) - but it does give you a lot of basic information about the show:

http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2005/nov/18/supernatural_selection/

I will be watching and will let you know when (not if) they move into the STULL part of the storyline.

By the way, the building in the Stull Cemetery that I referenced in the 1997 write-up piece was "mysteriously" demolished a few years back. It's been reduced to a pile of rubble and now sits, mostly unattended. Gates of Hell Fans can now grab pieces of it and sell them on eBay! Just don't tell anyone I told you to do that, though! ;-)

Hi.

Well, here it is: The Big List! Please remember that I certainly don't expect to get every single item on The Big List (although it would be nice!). But please also remember the NO SUBSTITUTIONS rule (gifts *must* come from the list below!). As usual (aside from all the calendars and reference-type items) it's loaded with the standard escapist fare that you've come to know and love over the past few years. What can I say, this stuff helps me relax at the end of the day!

Also as usual, I have divided the list into Group 1 Items and Group 2 Items. And in case you've forgotten, I've sent out reminder e-mails as to your Group designation. The Big List is also out there as a Wish List at Amazon.com (URL is included in your Group Designation mails). Don't forget: you *are* allowed to "trade" items from one group to another if you so desire -- but you would need to broker that offline. And finally, don't hesitate to partner with someone else in your Group on some of the more expensive box sets. I've really tried to keep everything under $200 this year!

Enjoy! And let me know if there are any questions. Thanks!

Bests,
ME.

Hi.

I'm not sending you the usual form letter I send back to people. There was too much going on with your communication for that. I cannot respond to everything in your letter, but I will briefly address The Clearing stuff.

>
> Do you have any feelings about the distance of damage?

> Do you have any feeling on this? Also, any time? 4:00

The Clearing has meant many different things to me at different points along the way from May until now. The only parts I have shared with the General Public have been the ominous parts. There were other aspects of 11/18 that ended up holding incredible joy for me. Like, that light in the picture wasn't a "dirty bomb" going off in NYC at all, but the light of a Brand New Day! That's pretty much all I can say (publicly) regarding 11/18's extremely positive aspects. But in the final analysis, the day brought a "Clearing" for me (and many others, actually) and the bright light of something very NEW and very wonderful.

But regarding the ominous parts:

During the day yesterday, I started to feel that The Clearing really had passed and that disaster had been, at least for now, avoided. There have been three very high profile "stings" over the past 45 days that, I believe, are directly related to the danger having been averted:

1) The NYC Subway Crackdown
2) The Baltimore Tunnels Shut-Down Incident
3) The arrests in Australia

These put a serious monkey-wrench in plans that, I believe, were afoot. In other words: plots were foiled. The shit can still hit the fan, but not any time soon. So, from my perspective, we have "cleared" The Clearing. Other material related to The Ominous Vibe aspect of The Clearing can be found here:

Speaking about your area around Princeton there, I did some work for the "I AM America" "maps of the future" people back in the mid-90s. I helped them to add some additional detail to their Earth Changes maps for the NJ/NY metropolitan area. Suffice to say, there is a New Princeton Coastline. Yes, you're beach-front on this map. :-)

Wasn't sure you fully understood this yet, but I am actually a NJ native. From Sussex County. My Alma Mater is Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. I went there as an undergrad and that's where I got my Masters in '95. I have strong NJ ties to this very day. Most of my closest, life-long friends are in NJ. In fact, I basically work remotely for a NJ-based team. Nearly everyone I deal with on a daily basis for My Day Job stuff is in NJ.

Well... anyway... best of luck with your ongoing journey! It was great to hear from you! And thank The Gods that we finally CLEARED The Clearing!

A BRAND NEW DAY is upon us!

Hi.

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten. ONE WEEK TO GO. Next Friday, 11/18, is The Clearing.

But on this day, 11/11, I will once again share with you the Key I(b) relationship --- as well as the CipherClues (V7.0).

:: Key I(b) ::
Hyponitrite Reductase
w/Text
Beth*Daleth*Tzaddi
11:11=22=HEXF=15=TheHornedOne=OMEGA=1

CipherClues (V7.0) ---

1) 11:11=> 2:2 => 22. Nifty! And it makes so much sense.
And why is 22 so important? Look it up! 'Nuff said.

2) 11:11 => 15.
Simple. 1111 (in binary or BASE 2) equals 15 (in decimal or BASE 10). Done.

3) 11:11=> 1111 (BASE 2) => Hex F.
Hexadecimal --- BASE 16. Most of you are familiar with BASE 10, or decimal. You know, 10 fingers and 10 toes? Counting them? Picture 8 fingers on each hand. Or 8 toes on each foot. Count them. Start with ZERO. But when you get to 9 (which should be the second finger or toe on your second eight-fingered hand or your second eight-toed foot!), switch to letters (starting with A). By your 16th finger or your 16th toe, you will reach F. HEX F. Remember all those numbers and letters you saw when you got a Blue Screen of Death back in the Old (pre-XP) Days? That was HEX, baby!

4) 11:11 => 15 => TheHornedOne.
Get out your Tarot Deck. 'Nuff said.

5) 11:11 => HEXF => OMEGA
Others may currently paraphrase the following relationship but make no mistake about it: I said this first. Many moons ago. And they will readily admit that when pressed. Here goes: "1111 is the binary equivalent of F in Hexadecimal and HEX F is the 'last' or 'final' character in the Hexadecimal Character Set. Once you get to F, you open up a new column. Just like once you get to 9, you open the TENS column (with the number 1-0). So clearly there is an 1111/HEXF/OMEGA (Final, Last) relationship."

6) 11:11 => 1.
For over 20 years, I've tended to see 11:11 as not only a time but as a RATIO. An "11 to 11" ratio. The ":" also means DIVIDED BY. So 11:11 is the same thing as saying "an 11 to 11 ratio" OR "11 divided by 11" OR "one". Or 1.

7) "11:11=22=HEXF=15=TheHornedOne=OMEGA=1." Get it? Got it? GOOD!

See you on The Day After (11/19).

For the entire three days of Woodstock '94 I carried around a large sign that depicted a representation of something that I called, at the time, "Three Things and then Four Things". This showed three large black rectangles - the one right in the middle was slightly raised and the other two on either side of it were at the same level. Then there were two other black rectangles on either side of the three in the middle. When someone asked me what it was I told them: "It's 111 in the middle and 1111 on the sides. It's a representation of ALL SEVEN." I'm not sure exactly what year this representation started to mean something to me. But at this point, that image has been injected into the minds and souls of literally tens of thousands of people at NIN concerts, Roger Waters concerts, Marilyn Manson concerts, Dead Shows (including several at Red Rocks), and even to the unsuspecting folks inside WALT DISNEY WORLD. For years, I felt that it protected me. Wasn't sure how. But it did. This image that I created in 1999 for an old version of my website pretty much told the story:

The Old
Of course, that's me underneath the umbrella.

Well, about a 15 months ago, I started to view the abstract concept of ALL_SEVEN (||_|||_||) as potentially incomplete. Missing a few lines. Around 4 of them. So starting then, on a very personal level, I started to focus on something that looks like this:

The New

I immediately started to feel the same sense of protection and good fortune I received from the ALL_SEVEN. But it was enhanced. It was much more powerful. More intense. And more real. I even had new business cards made up depicting the new image (to replace the old ALL_SEVEN-style cards). The new image is, of course, known as ALL_ELEVEN. [Yes, I do have business cards for this stuff. Trust me, they come in handy sometimes. The card shows the URL for my site, my PO Box, and my e-mail address. And I don't give them out to everyone. Just special people (not just limited to "Inner Circle" special people either) that I feel comfortable sharing this stuff with. If I give you a card, it's a sign that I trust you. Or, better said, I trust you WAY more than I trust most other people.]

So what has this shift yielded? Well, I can comment on that only up to a certain point. The rest is, for a very good reason, undercover and will remain that way for a very long time. Perhaps indefinitely. So yes, there's some paranormal stuff that I just can't talk about in a public space like this blog (or, for that matter, anywhere on the Internet). Not now. Maybe not ever. HUH! IMAGINE THAT!

Some of the obvious correspondences to ||||_|||_||||:

- Master Dogen Zenji (1200-1253) tells us that TIME is "three eyes & eight elbows" (ALL_ELEVEN).

- 11 is the number of MAGICK in many cultures on this planet. Always has been, always will be.

- String theory, M-Theory, etc. all rely on 11 dimensions (ALL_ELEVEN) to make the math work out right.

- I see a "4-4" in there. Plain as day. And of course, "44" = BLOOD (family). And not just from its linkages through the Gematria, either. But as in, I'm thinking (potentially), the ONE 44. The 144K, that is.

Some of the not-so-obvious correspondences to ||||_|||_||||:

- HEY! I TOLD YOU I COULDN'T TELL YOU!

Heh.

So... on this wonderful 111 day (11-1), feel free to soak in that magickal ALL_ELEVEN image as much as you like. Print out the image and stare at it. See what happens. See how you feel. And please, keep me posted.

p.s. I --- And if you're jonesing for the good old (keyword=OLD) ALL_SEVEN, go to my Cafe Press store. The link can be found in the Links That Matter section of http://www.the111experience.org/

p.s. II --- Five years ago today, "the 111 experience (the chronology)" was archived in place. For what's happened since then, please check out the Beyond the Chronology section at http://www.the111experience.org/

p.s. III --- M&D are still doing very well Post-Wilma. Traffic in town, lines at gas stations and crowds in stores have all started to die down. Most of their area has power now. But statewide, there are over 742K homes - mostly in Broward and Miami-Dade - who are still without power. A WEEK LATER! Ewwwwww --- STINKY! Seriously though, it must be a mess. And once again, the "have-nots" are the ones who are suffering the most here. WHAT A WORLD!

Folks:

Well, this is good news! My Dad just called a few minutes ago and guess what? Their power is back on already! I guess they must have really been near the top of the list. We had heard that it might take until November 8th. So glad it didn't! Their first order of business? "A hot cup of coffee," I heard my Mom say in the background. Anyway, they are safe and sound and have had their electricity restored in what could only be described as record-breaking time. As I said earlier, their phone service never went out.

So they really are fully out of the woods at this point. And this will be the final e-mail update. Please forward this on to anyone who might be wondering how they made out. Now let's hope the rest of Florida recovers as quickly as my parents did!

Bests,
Jim

Greetings.

Since many of you might be wondering, my parents are "hunkered down" along with most of their friends and neighbors up and down the Treasure Coast. They made the decision yesterday morning to stay put. Their place is very strong - having withstood full frontal assaults from Hurricanes Francis and Jeanne with very minor damage. The expectation is that they will be safe.

They've taken all the necessary precautions. As directed by Governor Bush, they've made sure they have food and water for at least up to 3 or 4 days. They've got lots of batteries and candles ready just in case. We talked to them last night and they seemed to be in good spirits. They are ready.

The best way to know what is happening along the Treasure Coast at any given moment is to go this website:

http://www.tcpalm.com/

There is even a link there for WPTV Channel 5 in West Palm Beach (which has said it will stream live until the danger has passed).

We have a check-in call with them at noon. I will send another update later on tonight to let you know how they made out!

For the Ward-Nichols Family,
Jim

Greetings (again!) ---

We were in touch with my parents throughout the day. Here's a quick summary:

- They lost power early this morning but the phone never went out (3.2M out of 4.3M are now without power across the state!).

- There was very little structural damage despite the 100+ mph gusts.

- They have plenty of ice and are putting perishables that they want to save in a series of coolers.

- They also have a ton of non-perishable foods and are prepared to go several days (3-4?) without electricity if they have to.

- Although they are not under a boil order, they are drinking bottled water - water pressure is fine, though - no issues with water at all (meaning baths & showers will be possible).

- No leaks or flooding.

- They said that the winds were the strongest after the eye passed over - much stronger than the winds during the first wave.

So... they are doing VERY WELL considering they just rode out a nearly Cat 3 hurricane! :-)

If the power stays out longer than 2 or 3 days, they have several offers for lodging from friends in other parts of the state. They say they will stay put for a few days at least - and then decide whether or not to take folks up on their offers.

Whew! We're sure glad that's over! So hopefully this will be the Grande Finale to the hurricane season in Florida?! One would hope!

For the Ward-Nichols Family,
Jim
